This might seem silly, but we need a bigger car,my family are all adults practically, and my husband may need a wheelchair in the future, our car although very reliable,is too small
..i may have the opportunity of another car bigger, but, more millage on the clock and bigger engine, and more expensive to run, even though I would get cash  back too,I'm scared I'm making a mistake..we need a reliable car.

Hello Dear...    probably a good idea to wait until its clear you need it, when in doubt do nothing as usually a rash decision goes wrong,  its like when one sees that lovely dress in the shop window and we aren't sure, if its meant to be ours it will happen if not let it go,,,    :)))

Not really what this site is all about, is it?
Car troubles................ lucky to have one in the first place.
Cant pay more in tax or fuel, stick to the same engine size when looking for your new car.
The mileage is not always a good indicator or reliability, space shuttle mileage may have been taken care of regularly (hence why its lasting so long) where as low mileage may mean its on the brink of needing a new cam belt or other expensive part.
Get someone who knows about cars to view with you. Failing that the AA will inspect cars for a fee.
