Hi Jacelle, I am a retired counsellor in Canada and offer you my services at no cost whatsoever. By the sounds of your plea for help, I am sure you have been through a lot of things that a thirteen soon to be 14 year old should not have been exposed to. If you are prepared to work with me, by the grace of God, I will encourage you and do my best to help you through your hard times.  Know that you are not alone and our creator is constantly looking down on his creation with love and compassion. Look around you, the stars, the moon, the sun, the air that we breath, the water we drink, it was all made for mankind's survival. Try to image if even one of these things were off by even smidgen, we would have never existed. God made all of this, then he made us. In fact the bible states that he took earth from the ground, molded us in his own image then gave us the breath of life. Everything was perfect for his creation and it was like heaven on earth. All that God asked is that  his prized creation not eat of the tree of knowledge,  the forbidden fruit.   Well the bible teaches us about the evil one and how he tricked mandkind to partake of the fruit.  By doing that mankind fell from grace with our God and was doomed.  We were all lost to him until he found a way to win us back from the evil one. This came at an extreme cost to him, his only begotten son made man. Jesus was perfect in every way, evil tried to tempt him often during his time on earth  but he was stronger. He. Knew of his father's master plan to save mankind. The bible teaches us that while on earth, Jesus healed the sick and raised the dead. Everything he did he did on his Father's wishes for mankind to be saved.   Jesus gave up his life for us so we could live by shedding his blood to wash away our sins. For whoever believes in him shall be saved. See we don't have to be perfect just believe in Christ. He is the only way to his father. When God looks at those who believe in his son Jesus he sees them as having no sins or faults. Jesus also told us that whatever we asked his father for in his name would be given. You need to talk to God my young friend and tell him that you accept him into your life and protect you from the evils of this world. Trust me with God we can make it through this. If you would like to send me your information at.    RogerRoy@protonmail.com.    it would be my pleasure to work with you and help you to get through this.  Your friend, papasmurf, A.K.A. Rick B.

Hi,

I've struggled with anxiety and depression, including suicidal thoughts, and there's been a lot of improvement for me. I've been taking anti-depressant medications. Also I've been doing the 12 Steps of Emotions Anonymous. Part of my continued healing is that I share with others the solution. The 12 Steps of Emotions Anonymous are:

1: We admitted we were powerless over our emotions--that our lives had become unmanageable.
2: We came to believe that a power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity.
3: We made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understood Him.
4: We made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves.
5: We admitted to God, to ourselves and to another human being the exact nature of our wrongs.
6: We were entirely ready to have God remove all these defects of character.
7: We humbly asked Him to remove our shortcomings.
8: We made a list of all persons we had harmed and became willing to make amends to them all.
9: We made direct amends to such people wherever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others.
10: We continued to take personal inventory and when we were wrong, promptly admitted it.
11: We sought through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with God as we understood Him, praying only for knowledge of His will for us and the power to carry that out.
12: Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to carry this message and to practice these principles in all our affairs.
And there's an additional principle of recovery: We offered forgiveness to those who had hurt us.
