Asking For Help is Not a Sign of Weakness! It is a brave and critical First Step! ASK a Question Now!

I think I need help but I'm to scared to ask so this is my best hope. I've been feeling this way for a year and a half now. I was so bad last year that I started self-harming but I made myself stop after someone saw some of my cuts in p.e. it was hard but I done it but I still never felt any better. Now I've started cutting again and it's worse than before, I do it everyday just so I can feel something, I don't see anything wrong with it but I know it's not normal. Everyday I feel myself not caring a little bit more and I know it's not long until I go completely numb. I've planned everything for summer after my exams when I know it will be convenient to everyone else, after summer no one will need to pretend to care anymore. I feel so unmotivated and I'm almost numb. I'm afraid to tell anyone because I'm a teenager and people will blame my hormones or say I'm being dramatic and probably even be angry at me. I know it's not my hormones and I'm not being dramatic. I'm just so drained mentally and physically. I'm actually done with pretending I'm happy. I hope someone can give me advice before I completely let go of everything that is reality.

"I'm afraid to tell anyone because I'm a teenager and people will blame my hormones or say I'm being dramatic and probably even be angry at me." You don't need to tell everyone, you just need to tell your parents, and ask for seeing a doctor/professional. They can help you understand what is going on. It maybe hormones, and it maybe not. No matter what's the problem, they are trained to help you.

You are in the right direction for sharing how you feel here. Please don't stop here, keep telling people around you your true feeling, and keep asking for professional help! All you are feeling is temporary. There is a great future waiting for you to explore ...

Please never give up! You are not alone, you can talk with us anytime. Meanwhile, please call the helpline:
