Hi,
Over the past few years I have gone through a few things that I dont really want to go into but they have caused me to have a niggling thought in the back of my head. I dont know what to do to get rid of them. I feel like I am going to never get rid of them and they ruin everything. I dont ever feel good enough and I dont feel like I have anyone I have family and friends I am not a loner I have people but I dont feel like I can tell them because I dont want to be that pain in the neck like I was when I was younger because I lost friends. I dont cut myself ... I am a scratcher. I scratch at my skin till I bleed and people would ask me why? you have a perfect life but I dont I feel like everything is **** and I feel like I am trapped in my own mind and I need to get out.

Why cant I get out?

HELP ME GET OUT PLEASE!

It sounds like you are going through an extremely difficult time and that these thoughts are starting to really get the better of you, it also sounds like you feel you do not have a good enough reason to be feeling the way that you do but that is most definately not true, just because your life may seem great to others does not mean that these feelings you are having are false or unjustified, you are having these feelings for a reason and you are allowed to ask for help for them.

It is difficult to keep friends when you are going through something like this and I cannot guarantee they will stick with you this time round but I can guarantee that they care and they will try and help you as best they can so I think talking to them is worth the risk.

It sounds like you know that these things that you have been through in the past are quite possibly what is keeping you from moving on, maybe it is time to face these issues regardless of the pain it may cause in the short-term, talk to someone about them, if you do not want to risk your friendships perhaps a councellor, a helpline or talk to someone online here.

Whatever you choose to do, remember you may feel alone but you are not, there are people in your life who care for you and want you to succeed.

Best of luck, keep persevering.

From: One of many who cares.
