Hi im 23 weeks pregnant and im on bed rest and will be on bed rest till my delivery in Late December or early January! I have a hard working husband that does everything for us now, working 12-13 hrs a day, cooking, cleaning, shopping, bill paying, running me back and fourth to the doctor every week just to check on our little one and make sure everything is still good, and maybe getting 4-5 hours sleep a day before doing it all over again! The reason Im on here is that we are falling behind on a few bills and i'm not sure what to do don't want to get a loan from somewhere b/c well that just adds an extra bill, family cant really afford to help and I can't go back to work till our little one gets here or I could go into labor early and lose her! If anyone has any advice or could just help us out a little I would appreciate it more than anything!!!!

A very challenging situation. When the income doesn't meet the demands for money, the income either has to increase or the bills have to decrease. That is if there is no outside help. In this situation you might consider getting a letter from the physician who put you on bedrest stating that the bedrest is required, and why. Submit this letter to some or all of you creditors, asking for a grace period of non payment until the baby is born, at which time you will resume normal payments. Sometimes this works, sometimes not but it might be worth a try. Best to you and yours
