I'm a single unemployed mother to three kids. I'm in the panhandle of Nebraska which is really limited in programs for assistance. All agency's in this state are seven hours drive from here. I've spent an entire night searching the Internet for local assistance and honestly haven't come up with anything .
I'm just trying to offer my kids the opportunity to continue to believe!  I'm fearful if I am unable to produce even the smallest of presents to my children that their childhood possibly could be damaged!  My only wish for my kids is the chance to hang on to their innocence of childhood as long as humanly possible. If you know any avenues to steer me down for a little holiday help would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you for your time
Sincerely
Sarah Wynn

Hi there,

I understand being a single mother really isn't easy... Trying to juggle all sorts of different things at once.

May I just say what a wonderful mother you sound trying ever so hard to keep christmas alive for your family. A well known fact about kids is, what they don't know won't hurt them, now I understand if they go to school all the other kids may tell them "oh I got this for Christmas" etc... Might I suggest charity shops, perhaps £1 ($1) store and just colouring in books, pens, build-toys, kids love these things, heck you buy a kid a toy and they want to play with the box!

Use your imagination and just try to make Christmas as fun as possible.

Good luck to you all.
