I recently became an atheist because I've been struggling my entire life even though all I hear is what a great person I am..I have had to endure so many different tribulations that I didn't bring upon myself..a couple months ago I quit my job, it was not a safe work environment, and things just kept going downhill, one night I began to ponder about life and I realized my grandmother the most amazing, most religious, most moral person I ever met, whom raised me and was an avid believer! She simply did unto others, and worked hard, yet she suffered her entire life more or less, never properly getting to be happy and died of cancer..then I look at people like Kanye, and Beyonce who are completely loaded and then I think of kids that are suffering and starving, and I think of my ****** mean ex boss whose dogs live better than me, I think of the fact that even though I've worked two and three jobs and paid my taxes social services still denied me emergency services, the fact that good people win just as much as bad people do, there's no rhyme or reason, and it dawned on me that perhaps there is no devil or god, heaven or hell, perhaps just life..after all if it were that easy to sell your soul wouldn't there be more rich people?? Tonight I googled.." about to lose everything and im starting the year homeless"..and this site popped up I was searching for inspirational stories to give me strength but I found angels help me out, give me a reason to believe again, help me understand why god allows this world to be so cruel if he does exist??

Good Evening

I have had similar experiences to you my love with regard to the job and being bullied and manipulated by my boss- this led me to also quit my job and endure months of depression. I am in no way healed but I have taken myself out of several unhealthy environments and even spent Christmas at a local soup kitchen with a whole range of volunteers helping to create a Christmas meal and it was the best thing I ever did.

I truly believe that through spreading kindness and good wherever I go and avoiding the 7 deadly sins- anger, jealousy, greed etc you will live a happy life and good things will come back to you- you have to stay positive and share your experinces with others.

Learn from your experiences and try to make positive influences in other people's lives and stay true to yourself my dear.

Maintain a positive mental attitude and try to take the emotion out of situations so that you are able to see things for what they are and not what you want them to be xx
