i need help to understand my boyfriend he used to go out with one of my friends but they split and he seemed really interested in her best friend but she didnt want to be with him because of how he hurt my friend then he moved on to me I never thought id actually say yes but he told me everything about me he had liked ever since he first knew me which I then seemed to find really nice and went for him we split a few times but that wasn't either of our faults but he really only seems interested in my body as that's mainly the only thing he will ever talk about and its nice but I don't just want someone to talk about my body I want them to love me for me and im not sure he even wants me or just wants me for the fact that he likes the idea of being in love and having a girlfriend as im the only person who will actually look at him for him and forgive him for his past no matter what he did I don't know if ive made the right choice or if I should just go for someone else and forget about him again

If you suspect that all he wants from you is your body then I would think twice about the relationship. Sit down and talk to him, go out and do something fun where you and your body aren't the sole focus of his attentions and ask yourself if you both enjoyed the day. A relationship is about friendship as well as physicallity, don't let one of those factors be neglected.

It is pretty clear you have answered your own questions and doubts. Move on and learn what it means to be with someone who loves you for many reasons instead of one. Move on and be truly happy when you find genuine and spiritual commitment. You do not have it now... move on.
