My fiance and myself are homeless at the moment. We have went from working full time as a physical education teacher (me) and a hard working warehouse man (my honey) to being unemployed and losing everything we have worked so hard for. We relocated during this pandemic with our beautiful blessing and angel service dog Luna after being laid off due to COVID and not being able to find anything at the moment.  We have faced many trials from having all the belongings we have taken multiple times by different law enforcement agencies to losing both vehicles and unemployment insurance.

Once because a friend of mine was kind enough to let us go shower and sleep at her hotel room and she and someone else had warrants and refused to come out for the police and they kept the room secluded off for a week and they wouldnt allow us to get our belongings.

The second time not even a month after getting our belongings back from incident one they were being transported by a friend who was kind enough to agree to come vet our things from the hotel room we could no longer afford so we could get them to our storage and a jefferson county sheriff attempted to make contact with him and 2 other vehicles of people and they all tried leaving.  The sheriff did not like that and our friend was the last car to leave and the sheriff proceeded to hit him in his vehicle. He proceeded to then continue to leave and that sheriff made the statement that our friend hit him. So the next morning a bergade of Arvada police department officers and detectives came to do Jefferson County Sheriffs office dirty work. They came for the car.

At that point they seized the vehicle and again took all of our belongings which were inside. I had exhausted my unemployment and they took EVERYTHING... Our cloths, hygiene, personal working supplies and even worse all of our service dogs food, toys and bed. Upon speaking with the lead defective to the case he poltely told us until we gave him information, AKA talking or snitching we would not get our belongings back.  The hardest pill to swallow was we were not present for the incident and truly could not give him anything.  A week had passed and we heard nothing from the detective. I continued to follow up with the tow yard because the vehicle as well as all its contents were placed on a felony hold. Finally after 3 weeks of calling i was informed by the tow company the vehicle had been picked up by the rental company well over a week ago and the vehicle had never been inventoried by the detective and they had no idea where our belongings were. After speaking to the detective at almost a month of them having our life he let me know in fact he was just to busy to inventory the car and to contact hertz to get my things. After 3 days of trying to find out where my belongings were and finally just going to the DIA hertz location demanding answers and them to look the manager found our belongings but not all of them. Hertz did not empty the entire car so another 5 days later, alot of calling and pleading with COPART ( who along with the DIA hertz location were angels and amazing) we got the rest of our belongings.

NOW...our storage unit has informed us they will inventory our units on the 31st because we are behind on payments. They know our situation and know that everything we own and have left after losing our house, both vehicles (one a 2020 chevy equinox was totaled by a family member and my car a 2015 ford taurus was stolen by a friend and trashed, they truly want to demolish our 2020 year by auctioning our belongings left off to the highest bidder.

PLEASE I AM BEGGING AND PLEADING AND PRAYING FOR HELP.  WE OWE $1000 to the storage company to keep our unit.  It is all we have left other then each other.

IF YOU CAN HELP ME AND MY FAMILY WE WILL PAY THIS FORWARD WHEN WE GET ON OUR FEET.

God bless you for taking the time to read and even possibly help.
